Psychology teaching role in Berkshire

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working on the behalf of a small secondary school in Berkshire who are seeking to appoint a Psychology teacher ASAP, ideally from Easter 2018. The vacancy shall initially be on a supply basis right up until the end of the academic year. The role shall be teaching Psychology at both KS4 and KS5.

The incoming Psychology teacher will be expected to take on full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking, whilst monitoring progress and behaviour. The department have successfully increased attainment, whereby 79% of pupils achieved A*-C at GCSE last academic year.

Both experienced and Newly Qualified Psychology teachers are welcome to apply for this position as the head of department wishes to meet interested teachers at the earliest convenience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
