As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students across the school – academically, emotionally, and socially.
You will:

- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, or social-emotional challenges.
- Help students to access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence.
- Support behaviour management strategies and contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to adapt resources, monitor progress, and implement effective interventions.
- Offer emotional reassurance and use psychology-informed approaches to support wellbeing and resilience.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic and compassionate graduates who are motivated by a genuine desire to support young people.
Ideal candidates will:
- Hold (or be working towards) a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field.
- Have a strong interest in SEN, behaviour support, or child development.
- Be a great communicator who’s calm, adaptable, and empathetic.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- Be reliable, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but full training and support will be provided.
Why This Role?
- Gain invaluable experience in education, psychology, and student support – ideal for future careers in educational psychology, teaching, counselling, or therapy.
- Join a supportive and forward-thinking team in a diverse and inclusive school setting.
- Access regular CPD opportunities and mentoring from experienced professionals.
- Make a genuine difference in the lives of students every single day.
