Psychology Graduate Scheme

Summary: Are you a Psychology Graduate or student looking to get your foot into the education sector? Teaching Personnel are recruiting Psychology graduates, students or someone with a simular background during this time of crisis, in preparation for vacancies to start in the eventuality of schools reopening. We are looking for specific individuals to work with a client school based in Cardiff as a specialist teaching assistant working with special educational needs. Pay will be based on experience but will range from GBP60.00-GBP70.00 per day. Your working hours will be 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.

The Role: You will be asked to work with the pupil on a one to one basis, supporting pupils with their everyday routine and keeping them engaged throughout the school day and on track to meet their daily learning objectives. Candidates will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. Previous experience working with special needs, personal or professional is both advantageous for the role.

The Students:  The Students that attend the school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, Tourette’s syndrome, epilepsy and/or Mental Health Difficulties and challenging behaviour.
