Are you a Psychology Graduate wishing to work alongside children and young people in a supportive capacity? Would you benefit from a long term position within a mainstream secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary school in Doncaster to source a team of Psychology Graduates to work within their support faculty from January 2019.

The role of Psychology Graduate;

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support within the 'Inclusion Faculty to pupils who require additional support throughout the school day.
  • Providing mentoring sessions to pupils on a 1:1 basis to support social, emotional and mental health.
  • Working with students and class teachers during lesson times to promote positive behaviour and motivation.

The school wish to meet interested Psychology Graduates at the earliest convenience for an immediate start. Previous experience working with children and young people is desired but not essential for this position.

Located in Doncaster, our partner secondary school currently has 1,300 pupils on roll. With a high proportion of students requiring additional support during the time that they are in school, this position is guaranteed for the remainder of the full academic year and may continue into the new academic year.

The school can be accessed via the M18 in Doncaster, for those without transportation there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley.
