PRU Teacher required in Preston area!

Teaching Personnel work with two Behavioural Units in the Lancashire area. One of them is based in Preston and the other in Lancaster, both are seeking hard working, qualified Teachers to work with their KS3/4 pupils. The roles are similar in the sense that you will be expected to deliver a range of subjects, including, English, Functional Skills, Science and Maths - assistance with planning will be given as the School are more concerned about the candidates ability to build trust and relationships with their pupils.

The Schools are smaller than average and you'd be expected to deliver lessons to classes of around 7-9 pupils. The students in School will display challenging behaviours and therefore classroom management skills are essential, ideally, the candidate will also hold their Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The candidate must be; a qualified Teacher, have experience working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties, be willing to deliver a range of subjects across KS3/4 and be hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and have a good understanding of working with pupils with additional needs.
