Job description

Do you have experience working with Primary pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 (KS1/2)?

Interested in providing flexible 1-to-1 support to children outside mainstream schools?

TP Tutors offers an exciting opportunity in Newark (NG24) for 1-to-1 tuition support. We seek tutors to assist children with engagement and core subjects.

Role:

  • Design and deliver engaging sessions tailored to each child's needs.
  • Work with children with potentially challenging behavior, employing various strategies for their success.
  • Monitor progress and plan next steps in learning.
  • Inspire and engage children to achieve their best.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to learners' needs.
  • Proficient in behavior management strategies.
  • Foster confidence and a love for learning.
  • SEN experience desirable but not essential.

Successful applicants require background checks and a current DBS certificate. Teaching Personnel provides support if needed.

Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 8-4, with potential for additional duties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
