TEACHING ASSISTANT/Classroom Support - Calcot (RG30)

30 hrs a week, Term Time only

8.45am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday

Salary Grade B Scale Point 1-3

Actual Salary Per Annum up to GBP18,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is committed to enabling positive, child-centered learning opportunities, to a child with specific needs on a one to one basis. The successful candidate needs to be a patient, calm and caring person who is flexible, consistent in their approach and willing to learn. 

You will be working as part of a supportive team within a lovely Mainstream Primary School in Calcot (RG30)

The schools caters for up to 300 children aged between 5 to 11 years.

The School is looking for someone:

  • Someone who is passionate about teaching and learning and is keen to lead, inspire and motivate children to achieve the highest possible standards.
  • Someone who can: - develop successful learners who are confident, inquisitive and independent - create a culture of learning and discovery that is stimulating and enjoyable
  • Someone who has a good understanding on the Primary Curriculum
  • Someone who has the ability to wor alongside children withy additional needs including: Autism, ADHD, SpLD & Challenging Behaviour

In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • Daily rate of pay up to GBP90, depending on your previous experience.
