Qualified Teacher – Primary and Secondary Experience
Croydon and surrounding areas | Full-time, part-time and flexible supply

Have you taught across both primary and secondary schools? We’d love to hear from you.

You may be a secondary-trained teacher who has enjoyed working in primary, a primary teacher with secondary experience, or someone whose career has covered different age groups and settings.

At Teaching Personnel, we’re keen to hear about the full picture of your experience and help you find a role that makes the most of it.

We work with mainstream and specialist primary schools across Croydon and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities for teachers who can bring subject knowledge, adaptable teaching and an understanding of how children learn at different stages.

What’s available?

  • Flexible supply teaching around your availability.

  • Part-time and full-time classroom roles.

  • Short-term cover and longer-term placements.

  • Opportunities in mainstream primary and specialist settings.

Whether you enjoy teaching across the curriculum, have a particular subject strength or want to explore a different setting, we can discuss opportunities that suit your experience.

We’re looking for teachers who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Have teaching experience across both primary and secondary settings.

  • Can adapt lessons to different ages, abilities and learning needs.

  • Build positive relationships and establish clear classroom routines.

  • Are keen to contribute to a school team.

What can you expect from us?

You’ll work with a dedicated consultant who takes time to understand your strengths, preferred age groups and travel requirements. As a former primary teacher, I know how much the right school environment matters.

We offer PAYE pay with no umbrella company. Our Guaranteed Work Scheme may also be available for suitable teachers, subject to eligibility and agreed terms.

Apply with your CV and tell us which year groups and settings you’ve worked in. We’ll get in touch for a chat about what you’re looking for next.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
