Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for an "OUTSTANDING" school in the south Derbyshire area of DE3
The school is an "OUTSTANDING" school located in the area of DE3, covering all ages between 3 to 11 years, from EYFS through to year 6. The school aims for the highest level of both personal and academic achievement. Students are expected to work independently and collaboratively, supporting the development of their confidence and sense of adventure and enthusiasm for learning. The school requires a teaching assistant that has a positive and caring attitude, that can continue to motivate the students to achieve their best.
Do you have the following skills/qualifications?
- Experience working in a school or as a teaching assistant
- Experience teaching a range of subjects using a versatile and creative approach
- Positive, calm, patient and nurturing personality
- Up to date knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Experienced managing challenging behaviour calmly and with confidence
- Be willing to get involved in extra-curricular activities
- Additional CPD such as safeguarding, team teach or autism awareness
