Primary Teaching Assistant (Cardiff)

Job description

Due to high demand, we are currently seeking motivated Teaching Assistants to start work September in the Cardiff area.

We have both full and part time roles including general and 1:1 (supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs - SEN) from Foundation Phase to KS2

Preferably we are looking for candidates that have experience of working with children, however we can accept applications who don't have experience and looking for a career in education.

The qualities that we are looking for:

  • Experience working with children
  • Confident working in both Foundation phase to KS2.
  • Reliable, passionate and uses initiative
  • Conducting observations and providing feedback to staff and parents
  • Qualifications such as CACHE Level 3, Degree in such Education, Psychology, English etc.
  • Confident handling challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with children with SEN is ideal but not essential.


  • Minimum £57 per day (please not that we don't use an umbrella company!)
