Primary Teacher - SEMH School Durham

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEMH School in Durham (DH1) to recruit a full time Primary Years Teacher on a temporary basis. The role will commence ASAP, with strong potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The position will involve working with a small class of students across KS1/2 with varying levels of SEMH. The candidate will need to have good, broad curriculum knowledge, as well as being enthusiastic and a positive role model for the students! Qualifications such as Team Teach are desirable but not required and we welcome applicants with experience working with SEN in mainstream and SEN environments.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced special needs teachers as well as specialist teaching assistants. You will also benefit from Teaching Personnel's exceptional CPD opportunities and competitive daily pay rates!
The ideal candidate will have:
-At least six months teaching in an SEND environment
-Qualified Teacher Status
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude
