Primary Teacher required in Poole, Dorset to start in September!

This school provides a personalised education tailored to meet the needs of its pupils aged 5-12 years in Key Stages 1-3. Pupils have a statement of special educational needs for behavioural, emotional and mental health difficulties. In addition, many pupils may also have other needs alongside this.

This SEMH School prides itself on offering a supportive yet challenging environment in which young people feel secure enough to risk leaving behind their old behaviours to embrace a new and more positive future.

The curriculum has a focus on the development of key literacy and numeracy skills, reading and phonics, improved levels of attention and concentration, social skill development, emotional health and well-being and self-regulation in regards to behaviours which cause concern.

The vacancy available is a full time position, with the opportunity for permanent employment. School hours are:

Monday 08:45 - 16:05 Tuesday 08:45 - 16:30 Wednesday 08:45 - 16:05 Thursday 08:45 - 16:30 Friday 08:45 - 16:05

Applicants will be either fully qualified or newly qualified teachers. It is not essential you have experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs but this would be beneficial.
