Teaching Personnel are seeking a successful Year 2 Teacher to support a fantastic Primary School in the Newcastle area with a track record of outstanding practice. This post is to teach within key stage 1, with responsibility for the Year 2 class. This is a fixed term contact for 1 year starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The school need a creative and flexible Year 2 teacher, full training and support will be given to the successful candidate. They have received ‘OUTSTANDING’ in their last Ofsted report. A single-form entry school with desire to maintain their high teaching standards, the school have a creative approach to teaching as well as encouraging students to succeed with engaging and stimulating lessons.
The school are only accepting Fully Qualified Teachers for this position.
Role Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Teacher
- Strong knowledge on the KS1 curriculum
- Desire to challenge themselves, moving beyond what is known and comfortable to discover greater potential
- A pro-active attitude and the ability to work efficiently with the school community
- Hold an advanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apple for one
