Primary Teachers – Weymouth
Location: Weymouth, Dorset

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Supply
Salary: £120 - £140 per day (depending on experience and role)
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of thriving and supportive primary schools in Weymouth, who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers for roles starting in September.
We are recruiting for EYFS, KS1, and KS2 positions, with opportunities available for both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
About the Role:
We have a range of vacancies available, including full-time class teaching, part-time cover, and flexible supply work. Whether you're looking for your next permanent role or short-term assignments, we can help match you with the right school in Weymouth.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Support the learning and development of all pupils
- Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents and carers
We are looking for:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (placements included)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Passion for education and commitment to pupil progress
- A valid, enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
