Full-Time Year 6 Teacher – Partington
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Partington. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is motivated to support pupils through the pivotal final year of primary education and prepare them for a successful transition to secondary school.

The Role
As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching that supports academic achievement and personal development. Working closely with colleagues and leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to drive pupil outcomes
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adapts teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
- Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum
- Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team
- Confident with educational technology to support learning and assessment
- Is reflective, motivated, and committed to maintaining high expectations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
