Full-Time Year 6 Teacher – Supportive Primary School in Partington (January 2026 Start)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Partington, seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm), ideal for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential during this crucial stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to drive pupil success
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best teaching practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Effective communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Confident use of technology to enhance learning and assessment
