Full-Time Year 6 Role – Supportive Primary School in Partington (March 2026 Start)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Partington, seeking a dedicated Year 6 teacher to join their team from March 2026.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm), ideal for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential during this crucial stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities

As a Year 6 teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to drive pupil success
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS is essential
  • Previous experience within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
  • Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to enhance learning and assessment
  • A reflective and motivated teacher with high expectations for pupil achievement
