Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Position | Burnage
Start Date: March
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a warm, inclusive, and community-driven primary school in Burnage that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time from March.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils.
  • Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress, offering constructive feedback to support continued development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise teaching standards.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Year 6 or working across Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidently adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and current teaching approaches.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • Competent in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
