Year 6 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity | Burnage

Start Date: January 2026
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a warm, inclusive, and community-focused primary school in Burnage, seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team full-time from January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils.
  • Assess, record, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching quality.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

About You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching in Year 6 or across Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidently adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Possess a sound understanding of the National Curriculum and contemporary teaching methods.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork abilities.
  • Competent in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
