Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the OL16 area. This full‑time role is to start immediately and will run until July 2026, offering a stable and rewarding opportunity for the remainder of the academic year.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the Year 2 class, delivering high-quality teaching, planning and assessment in line with the national curriculum. The role will involve preparing pupils for the end-of-year expectations, supporting varied learning needs, and contributing to the wider school community.

The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering Key Stage 1 content, able to build positive relationships with pupils and parents, and committed to maintaining high standards of progress and behaviour.

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 is highly desirable
  • Ability to start immediately and work full time until July
  • A positive, engaging and reflective teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
