Position: Year 3 Teacher
Location: SK2, Stockport
Salary: £167 – 233 per day
Contract Type: Long-term, Full Time

Year 3 Primary Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum (Year 3).
- Teach core subjects including English, Maths, and Science, helping pupils build strong skills and understanding across each area.
- Use assessment data effectively to track pupil progress and support ongoing learning.
- Differentiate teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including SEND, EAL, and SEMH.
- Collaborate with colleagues such as the SENCO, teaching assistants, and SLT.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and assessments.
- Contribute positively to school initiatives, staff meetings, and wider school life.
Year 3 Primary Teacher Requirements
- A degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong understanding of assessment frameworks and effective teaching strategies.
- Commitment to delivering inclusive, high‑quality teaching that supports every child.
- A secure understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive practice.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
- A professional attitude and commitment to upholding Teachers’ Standards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
