Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher to join a welcoming two‑form entry primary school in the BL4 area. The role will begin after Easter and run through to the end of the academic year.

The school is a well‑respected setting with a Good Ofsted rating and a warm, community-focused atmosphere. The Early Years team is supportive, experienced and highly collaborative, making it an excellent environment for a teacher who is passionate about creating a positive start to children’s education.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Reception class, delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework. You’ll work closely with the parallel class teacher to share ideas and planning, while maintaining strong communication with parents and colleagues across the school. The school values a nurturing approach, so the ability to build strong relationships and create a safe, stimulating learning environment is essential.

We are looking for a teacher with QTS and ideally some experience in Early Years. A full‑time commitment until July is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
