Exciting Opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher – Join a Supportive School in Droylsden!

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a school in Droylsden that is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This school is focused on building an inclusive and collaborative learning community, where staff work together to inspire and support one another. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored for Year 2 students
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Strong understanding of current educational trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or working with early career teachers
  • Strong classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
