Science Teacher – Dorchester
Primary & Middle School Opportunities | Science-Focused | Paid to Scale

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of supportive primary and middle schools in Dorchester who are seeking a passionate and adaptable Science Teacher to join their teams. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys delivering engaging science lessons while being flexible to support core subjects where needed.

Science will remain the priority focus of the role, particularly within middle school settings, with opportunities to make a real impact across a range of year groups.

Position Details:

  • Role: Science Teacher
  • Location: Dorchester and surrounding areas
  • School Types: Primary and middle schools
  • Subjects: Science (priority) with some core subject cover if required
  • Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
  • Contract: Short-term, long-term and ongoing placements available
  • Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds UK QTS with strong subject knowledge in Science
  • Is confident teaching science across primary and/or middle school year groups
  • Is happy to support core subjects when required
  • Has strong classroom management and an engaging teaching style
  • Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply
  • Can drive (preferred) and travel to local schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
