Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teaching Staff based in or around Dorchester, with a wide range of opportunities available across Bridport, Weymouth, Wimborne, Corfe Mullen, Wareham and the surrounding areas.

We work closely with a large number of local schools, offering flexible day-to-day supply, longer-term placements, and opportunities across primary mainstream, middle schools, and SEN settings depending on your experience and preferences.

This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, are confident across different year groups, and are open to building strong links with multiple schools in the Dorset area.

Position Details:

• Role: Primary Teacher (KS1 & KS2; middle school opportunities available)
• Location: Dorchester + Bridport, Weymouth, Wimborne, Corfe Mullen, Wareham & surrounding areas
• Start: Immediate and ongoing
• Contract: Day-to-day, short-term and long-term
• Pay: Paid weekly via PAYE (paid to scale for long-term roles)

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds UK QTS
• Can confidently teach across Year R – Year 6
• Is happy to cover in middle schools (Years 5–8) and SEN settings if suited
• Has strong classroom management and an adaptable approach
• Is comfortable commuting across the wider Dorset area (driving preferable)
• Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
