Year 3 Primary Teacher – Bournemouth
January Start | Until February Half Term (Likely Extension) | Flexible Travel

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bournemouth who are seeking a committed Year 3 Teacher from January through to February half term, with strong potential for the role to be extended.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is confident delivering high-quality teaching, planning and assessment for a Year 3 class. The school is well-resourced, friendly, and supportive, making it an ideal environment for someone seeking a stable short-term placement with potential for longer-term continuity.

Position Details:

  • Role: Year 3 Primary Teacher

  • Location: Bournemouth

  • Start Date: January 2026

  • Duration: Until February half term (with likelihood of extension)

  • Contract: Full-time, class teacher responsibilities

  • Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds UK QTS with experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 desirable)

  • Can confidently plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons

  • Has strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills

  • Is happy to commute within Bournemouth and the surrounding areas

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

  • Is reliable, professional and committed to high-quality teaching
