French Teacher – Dorchester
Monday to Friday | Years 5–8 | Paid to Scale | February Start

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded school in Dorchester that is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled French Teacher to join their team from February through to May, with the possibility of the role extending further.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated language specialist who is passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality French lessons to pupils across Years 5–8.

Position Details:

  • Role: French Teacher
  • Location: Dorchester
  • Year Groups: Years 5–8
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: February (until May, with potential extension)
  • Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience
  • Expectations: Planning, marking, assessment and full teaching responsibilities

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching French
  • Can deliver dynamic and engaging lessons suited to KS2 and lower KS3
  • Has strong organisational skills and is confident planning and marking
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils and supports their progress
  • Is reliable, proactive and committed to high standards of teaching
