Primary Teacher – KS1
Weymouth | Paid to Scale | 2-Term Placement (Potential to Extend)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Weymouth, seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from the new term. This is a 2-term position with the possibility of continuing longer for the right candidate.

The school is looking for an inspiring practitioner who can make a lasting impact on pupils’ learning, confidence, and classroom experience. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive staff team who value creativity, positivity, and high-quality teaching.

The role:

  • Teaching a KS1 class with full classroom responsibility
  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons
  • Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with year-group partners and support staff
  • 2-term commitment, with potential for the role to extend
  • Paid to scale, based on MPS/UPS and experience

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has QTS and experience teaching within KS1
  • Delivers engaging, imaginative and well-structured lessons
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Brings energy, organisation and a passion for high-quality teaching
  • Is committed to helping children achieve their best and feel confident in school
  • Can step into a class and make an immediate, meaningful difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
