Primary Teacher – Dorchester
KS1 & KS2 | SEN Friendly | Flexible Travel | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Dorchester who are seeking a confident and adaptable Primary Teacher to join their teaching pool. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys variety and is comfortable teaching across KS1 and KS2, with the added flexibility to support pupils with SEN when required.

Whether you’re looking for short-term cover, longer-term placements, or consistent weekly work, we can offer roles that suit your preferences and availability.

Position Details:

  • Role: Primary Teacher
  • Location: Dorchester + surrounding areas
  • Year Groups: KS1 & KS2
  • Start Date: Immediate and rolling opportunities
  • Contract: Full-time, part-time, short-term or long-term
  • Pay: Competitive, paid weekly via PAYE (paid to scale for long-term roles)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident teaching across both KS1 and KS2
  • A positive and adaptable approach to supporting different school settings
  • Willingness to work with SEN pupils when required
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • Happy to travel between local schools (driving preferable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
