Teaching Personnel is working with a range of supportive and well-regarded primary schools across Wimborne, with additional opportunities in Dorchester, Wareham, Sturminster, Verwood and surrounding areas. We are seeking a reliable, adaptable Primary Teacher who is confident teaching across KS1 and KS2, with the flexibility to also support middle school settings when required.

This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys variety, is happy to commute, and is seeking either longer-term placements or ad hoc supply cover, depending on availability.

Position Details:

• Role: Primary Teacher
• Location: Wimborne, Dorchester, Wareham, Sturminster, Verwood + surrounding areas
• School Types: Primaries mainly, with some opportunities in middle schools
• Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
• Contract: Long-term placements & flexible ad hoc supply
• Pay: Paid weekly via PAYE (paid to scale for long-term roles)

We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confidence teaching across KS1 and KS2
• Willingness to support middle school year groups (Years 5–8) when needed
• Strong classroom management and a positive, adaptable approach
• A proactive attitude and ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
• Flexibility to travel between local schools (driving preferable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
