An exciting KS2 Teaching Position has just become available in a 3 form entry Primary Academy located in Huntingdon. The position it to cover a member of staff going on to Maternity leave and is due to start shortly after the Easter Break and run until the end of the academic year with the opportunity of being extended further.
The school have requested a Teacher with QTS to apply for this full time role, with planning and accurate marking to be carried out in order to ensure the pupils progress in the best way possible with your help. In order to ensure this is achieved, there is a level 3 qualified TA providing both 1:1 support as well as small group work support within the class at all times to provide a boost to the pupils that are struggling to match the levels of their piers.
Ideal applicants will also be required to:
- Have their own transport
- Have a professional level of classroom management skills
- Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
- Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
- Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating
Successful applicants will be expected to start as soon as possible after the Easter Break; therefore we need someone who is committed to making a real difference to the educational progression of all the pupils in the class.
