Primary Teacher - Bourne End

KS2 Teacher Required in SEN school in Bourne End.

Wouldn't it be great to have a fantastic work-life balance with an outstanding SLT supporting you? You could be working in an outstanding KS1/KS2 class in a SEN school in Bourne End.

Do you have significant knowledge and experience of working with children with autism or profound and complex needs? Are you passionate about inclusion and strongly committed to promoting equality? The school is a Primary age special school which caters for children experiencing difficulties in Communication and Interaction. It is expected that the vast majority of our pupils have a diagnosis of ASD alongside other difficulties such as anxiety, sensory processing, ADHD and dyspraxia for example.

The school strives to be inclusive and nurtures a philosophy of diversity within both the primary and secondary phases. The schools positive ethos along with the green open spaces makes a unique environment where children thrive. The successful candidate will be joining a happy SEN school on their journey from good to outstanding.

It will involve working on a 1:1 basis and general classroom support with children who have Special Educational Needs therefore as well as leading a class of no more than 9 pupils.

At Teaching Personnel we require:

  • A full enhanced DBS
  • Excellent References
  • A passion for teaching and the interest in raising school standards even higher than they currently are.
  • QTS/ PGCE and we also accept unqualified teachers with experience
