Job Title: Full-Time Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Sedgemoor, UK
Type: Full-time, Temporary (Option for Permanent Contract)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP (Flexible Start Dates Available)
Salary: £80-90 per day

Job Description:
As a Full-Time Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, assisting them with their academic, social, and personal development.
- Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies, in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
- Supporting students with personal care tasks, if required, and ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Creating and maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to meet the diverse needs of students and promote their overall well-being.
Option for Permanent Contract:

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is preferred.
- Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a primary school or special needs setting.
