What a Primary School Teaching Assistant role involves:

• 1:1 and group support to children who need it
• Guided Reading Groups
• Intervention groups for Maths and English 
• Encouraging pupils to stay engaged in learning and stay on task
• Creating resources for lessons
• Social and emotional support
• Assisting with challenging behaviour and promoting positive behaviour
• Helping with school trips, events and outings

The head teacher of a primary school in Monmouth wants us to recruit a Primary School Teaching Assistant to start immediately. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for making a positive impact on children’s learning. The head teacher of this school has a clear vision for the school based securely on raising standards and ensuring the wellbeing of all pupils.
