Primary, Kingston, full time, LSA, KS2.

A large Primary School based in Kingston Upon Thames, SW London. They are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a child in KS2. This position is starting in September 2019 and will be for the duration of the academic year.

This position is to support a child with ADHD, the child has emotional reactions when frustrated. The child responds well to individuals with a calm and patient attitude but you do need to be firm with the pupil as well. The SENCO has developed a strong working relationship with them and is working to support the child and family in and outside of the school environment.

The successful applicant will be required to support the child with their learning and also with their behavioural and social development. The student can get easily distracted and this can be a trigger for him to cause disruption in the class not only for himself but peers in the class as well.

This School offers fantastic support for all staff at the school. All members of staff work very closely together and go the extra mile to ensure the children are performing the best they can.
