Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking Early Career Teachers to support schools across the Wakefield and Kirklees area. Due to increasing local demand and high volume of vacancies for September 2024, Teaching Personnel are seeking Early Career Teachers for both flexible work and long-term temporary contracts. These roles are highly suited to staff who are either seeking their first long-term teaching role or looking to build their experience before committing to a long-term place of work.

As a Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

-           Teach your subject with an enthusiasm

-           Plan and deliver engaging lessons

-           Assess and provide feedback

-           Provide care, guidance and support to our young people.

-           Work as a member of a team

 We're looking for you if you have:

-           A willingness to keep up to date with subject knowledge & pedagogy;

-           Excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and children;

-           The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload;

-           A positive, helpful and courteous manner when carrying out your professional duties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
