Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Behaviour Support Workers to support students with a range of complex physical and Special Education Needs. The school caters to students aged 4-11 years and each child has an EHCP or a statement of Special Needs.

You will assist other staff in creating and implementing risk assessment and you will identify and address the needs of pupils that require additional support through 1:1 or in group settings. We are looking for someone who is comfortable deescalating behaviour and with excellent communication skills as some of the pupils may be non-verbal or have speech and language difficulties A candidate with experience working with children with Autism, experience working with children with diverse special needs and/or experience in working in nurture group settings is desirable, but not essential.

We are looking for a candidate who is empathetic and resilient, dedicated to providing tailored support and having a positive impact on a child's engagement and progression. Previous experience of working in a education setting and/or vulnerable people is essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
