PPA and LTS Cover Teachers needed across KS1+ KS2, Islington

This post requires an inventive KS2 Teacher who has received a 'Good' or better grading from observations and some previous experience in an inner city school. The successful candidate will have the attitude that the classroom should be a positive place of learning and the ability to find their feet with the minimum of disruption to the school. The successful candidate will have a good grasp of creative outlooks that may interest their students and strong skills in differentiation. We want to see teachers with the drive to motivate their pupils to perform at their peak and cultivate an ambitious learning space.

The right candidate should have:

- Experience of working in a school environment
- Knowledge and versatility within working in the KS2 curriculum
- Exceptional behaviour management skills, and experience working across SEN Provision
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching
- Hold recognisable QTS
- Strong communication skills with staff, children and parents
- The ability to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

1. You will need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school setting.
2. You must have a strong level of both spoken and written English

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
