Experienced teaching assistants needed in specialised school in Wheatley

A special school in Wheatley are currently looking to expand their team of teaching assistants in September. The school caters for pupils with Severe, Complex or Profound Learning Difficulties aged between 2 and 19.

The school are looking for someone who will have a flexible approach and be able to adapt in different circumstances including the possibility of moving across teams or school sites.

Each pupil at the school has an appropriately paced and differentiated curriculum based on their own individual needs and as well as working with pupils in the classroom, you may be required to participate in off-site activities such as swimming and trips out.

Experience of working with children is essential for this role, and a good level of fitness is required as you will be on the go throughout the school day and may be required to take part in manual handling procedures.
