A special school in Leicester have a vacancy for a full time KS1/KS2 class of approximately 8/9 students all of whom have PMLD/SLD. The school takes children aged 2–19 with a range of difficulties including severe learning needs, complex disabilities and two dedicated classes for pupils who benefit from a highly structured environment, many of whom have Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Pupils have a range of academic attainment from P Levels to National Curriculum level 2.
The school is organised into two departments; the Lower School (including Reception and Foundation Stage) and the Upper School. The school is surrounded by extensive grounds amidst Leicester woodland. All pupils attending the school have a statement of special educational needs.
