Experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant – Year 6 – Full Time – Woolston
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a primary school in the Woolston area who are seeking a confident and experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team full time until the end of the academic year.
This role is based within a Year 6 class and requires a resilient, proactive and highly capable TA who is experienced in supporting pupils during this crucial stage of their primary education. The school is looking for someone who can provide consistent support, maintain high expectations and confidently manage challenging behaviour where needed.
The Role:

Full-time Teaching Assistant within a Year 6 classroom

Supporting pupils academically in preparation for end-of-year expectations and SATs
-
Providing targeted interventions in small groups and 1:1
-
Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and classroom organisation

Promoting a focused, structured and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have strong KS2 experience, ideally within Year 6
-
Be confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
-
Demonstrate calm, consistent and firm behaviour management strategies
-
Have experience delivering targeted interventions
-
Be adaptable, reliable and committed to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
