The Geography Teacher Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to develop:
- a strong understanding of physical and human geography
- the ability to think critically about global and environmental issues
- curiosity about the world and its diverse cultures
- the resilience and confidence to question, explore and achieve their best
You’ll join a supportive, collaborative department where teamwork, trust and professional autonomy are genuinely valued.
The Ideal Geography Teacher Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that challenge and motivate students
- Build positive relationships through clear communication and effective behaviour management

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the possibility that it may become permanent at a later date.
