Geography Teacher – Secondary School – Dorchester

Full-Time | Long-Term Assignment | Start Date: Easter 2026

A supportive and well‑resourced secondary school in Dorchester is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their successful Humanities Department on a long‑term basis starting from Easter 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their classroom practice in a positive and collaborative environment.


About the Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Teach high‑quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve strong progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
  • Support field trips, enrichment activities and cross‑curricular projects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
