Geography Teacher – Gillingham (Easily commutable from Shaftesbury, Blandford, Sturminster Newton, Sherborne, Mere & Warminster)
Full-Time | Start ASAP | Secondary | KS3–KS4

Do you enjoy helping young people understand the world and their place within it? A well-supported and ambitious secondary school in the Gillingham area is looking for a Geography Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to:

  • explore physical and human geography
  • develop curiosity about global issues
  • strengthen their analytical and critical thinking skills
  • understand environments, cultures and global challenges

You will join a collaborative Humanities department with a supportive ethos.

Who We’re Looking For

  • QTS or a recognised teaching qualification
  • Ability to teach Geography confidently at secondary level
  • A track record of delivering structured, engaging lessons
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A commitment to high standards and positive behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
