1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role at a primary school in Bromley

A Primary school in Bromley is seeking support staff to work 1:1 with Graduates in Education, Psychology, or Sports.

SEN Teaching Assistant post available immediately
***Positive primary located in Bromley
***Long Term, Full-Time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role
***£60-£65 per day
***Minimum A - C in English and Math GCSE
***Responsible for working 1:1 with SEMH pupil

For this 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position you will be an assertive and amiable graduate who has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, children and parents. The school wants to take on a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who has a strong understanding of the problems students face and a sensitive, professional approach to helping different students' progress. The chosen 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant must show the ability to be charismatic and passionate in your mannerisms and go the extra mile for your pupils.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 3 pupil who has Social and Emotional Mental Health difficulties. While the main responsibility of this 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role is working 1:1 with an individual pupil, there will also be the opportunity to work with small groups as you support their learning and social development. You will be liaising with the SENCO, class teachers and parents to ensure delivery of effective SEN provision.
