"We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Physics teacher to join our Physics department for the remainder of the academic year. The appointed Physics teacher will be teaching across both KS3 and KS4 with a focus on the lower key stages as our teachers provide further intervention for the upcoming GCSEs. We therefore require an experienced Physics teacher who is looking for a part time or full time teaching position, where they can really offer a difference to our students" - Head of Physics
Working with this co-educational secondary school as a recruitment partner, we are working to recruit a motivated and experienced Physics teacher to join them for the summer term. This is on a supply basis but for a longer term assignment as the school have an open position within their Physics department. The school plan to advertise for this position for the September role with the successful Physics teacher through Teaching Personnel, being shortlisted should they meet the requirements. There is therefore a longer term, permanent option for the right Physics teacher with the very real opportunity to embark on a career at this supportive secondary school.
Key aspects of this Physics teaching position:
- Part time or full time teaching position available at this supportive secondary school for the duration of the summer term
- Opportunity to progress onto a school based contract
- Work with KS3 in the main, supporting the new cohort of year 7s working closely with the Head of Year 7 through to year 9
- Work within a supportive environment at this secondary school; part of a local trust of secondary schools
- Pay ranging between £625 - £800 per week depending on experience and current pay scale
The school require a reliable teacher of Physics who is able to engage the youngest of students who may find secondary school daunting and require additional assistance. Any experience of teaching AQA (or any exam board) Physics Language and Literature is desirable with the successful Physics teacher having a timetable across both aspects of the subject.
The school is located in Sheffield making it very easy for any local teachers to gain access. The school is also serviced well from Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and the city centre by local buses for those teachers on public transport.
