P.E Teacher Required
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a full time Physical Education Teacher with responsibility for the academic progress of a small number of pupils within a mainstream setting. The School in question is situated at the heart of the Leatherhead community. The School is committed to inspiring children and raising their aspirations. Due to the hard work and strong team spirit, during their very recent and successful Ofsted inspection they were judged to be a ‘good school’. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, teaching and tracking pupil progress involved with role. The role is to start ASAP.
What you will require:
- Relevant qualifications (Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- A track record of demonstrating a strong ability to teach, plan and prepare lessons to Ofsted standards
- A commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
- A confident and positive approach to working with children
- The ability to be a proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
- An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
- A willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities
- A current Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service or a DBS done through Teaching Personnel
