£120 - £165 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

PE teacher required at a Lincoln secondary school to deliver Girl's PE across Key Stage 3 and 4 for two academic terms. January 2019 start for one term initially.

  • Payment in line with MPS through initial temporary period (up to £165 per day)
  • Full time Physical Education teacher required, immediate start
  • Teaching core, GCSE and VCERT PE across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Specialist sports provisions to enhance teaching and learning in subject
  • Initially long term temporary post with the potential to continue beyond temporary period
  • Join excellent department with good facilities in place for incoming staff members
  • School happy to support induction of any newly qualified PE teachers

This is an excellent opportunity for any PE teacher looking to secure themselves a long term position teaching PE in a secondary school. The post will involve teaching core PE along with GCSE and VCERT for Key Stage 4 students, so any PE teachers with previous experience leading students through this curriculum will be desirable to the school. There are existing schemes of work in place for the incoming PE teacher, but there will be the need to be creative with these schemes of work and engage students in lessons.

Due to years of recent good results, the school is well regarded throughout the local community and remains the school of choice for a number of parents and students alike. Since moving to the new building in recent years, there has been a consistent climb in terms of Progress and Attainment along with consistent improvement of behaviour.

If you are a PE teacher looking for a new position in January, and would like to be taken into consideration for this post then please send over your CV to Max via the link provided.
