Phonics TA

Job description

A client school in the Openshaw area of Manchester (M11) are working closely with Teaching Personnel to recruit a KS1 TA to join their staffing team. This role will start after the February 2021 half term, starting on Monday 22nd February. It will run until the end of the academic year.

This role will be based in the school’s lovely Year 1 class, so prior knowledge of supporting learning across KS1 is essential. Experience of the ‘Jolly Phonics’ scheme would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver small group focus sessions and bring positive energy and new exciting ideas to the classroom. Candidates will ideally hold a Level 3 TA qualification and will have recent and relevant experience working with primary aged children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
