- Sound understanding of meeting the needs of learners with ASC
- Experience of developing and delivering Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
- Able to liaise with a multi disciplinary team
Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school in Bradford who are seeking a support worker to join their existing team. The school caters for pupils aged 2-19, all of whom have a recognised Special Educational Need and require an Education Health Care Plan to help meet their needs. You will be required to work with learners with Autism Spectrum Conditions, and have an understanding of the low stimulus environment required to meet these needs.
You will have previous experience of supporting young people with SEN in a specialist education or health care environment and you will be comfortable providing personal care. The school requires a high level of commitment and a passion to support those with additional learning needs.
