Part-Time Science Teacher

Part-time Science teacher required in September for an Ofsted 'Good' graded secondary school in Wigan.

• Part-time Science Teacher required ASAP (0.6)
• Must able to teach KS3 & KS4, if possible specialising in Chemistry & Biology.
• Pay in line with your scale point MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
• Employment would be till at least Easter but potentially to summer.
• Working days included; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school to recruit a Science Teacher on a part-time basis. This position has come to light due to one of their current staff members requesting to reduce their timetable from a full-time teaching time table to part time (0.4) in September.

This is an opportunity to join a 'Good' graded secondary school based within the Wigan LEA.

The school are in need of a Science teacher who is a specialist in Chemistry or Biology ideally and has experience delivering Chemistry or Biology at KS4 & KS5. The successful applicant must also be able to teach on the following days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Situated in Orrell, the school is on the outskirts of Wigan town centre making it easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Skelmersdale, Chorley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield. It is also a short drive away from the Merseyside areas.
