P.E teacher required in Ashford for January start

Are you an energetic, hardworking and motivated P.E teacher looking for a new challenge in the New Year? Do you want to work within a school that highly invests in its staff? If so, this role could be for you!

**Full time Physical Education teacher **

**Opportunity to gain a permanent position following initial employment**

**Daily rates from £120-£160**

**Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service**

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large secondary school who are part of a diocese of schools across Kent and our aim is recruit for a P.E specialist for a January/Feb start. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a similar environment and be able to teach P.E up to KS4. If successful, you will be a valued member of the team and an active part of the school community. The schools P.E department is currently in the process of expanding so this would be an ideal time to join the school and an excellent opportunity to progress into your next step as a teacher.

The leadership at the school do promote the catholic denomination, but don't expect staff to participate in Religious activities if they chose not to. Staff are friendly and inclusive resulting in a positive working environment that benefits both teachers and students.

Job description

  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which will provide the students with the opportunity to achieve and exceed their potential
  • Delivering the national curriculum to Key stage 3,4 and 5
  • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement
  • Preparing well-structured lessons, ensuring that students receive the coursework materials, homework assignments, handouts and setting individual assessments for students based on their individual abilities
