Job Title: One to One Tutor

Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Market Harborough

Salary: £25.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

As a One to One Tutor, your main responsibility will be to provide personalised academic support to students. This includes developing tailored lesson plans, assisting with homework and assignments, and helping students improve their understanding of various subjects. You will need to assess students' learning needs and progress, adapt teaching methods accordingly, and maintain detailed records of each student's progress.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in the area(s) you will be tutoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification in Education would be advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 years of UK teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in a one-to-one setting. Experience working with students of different ages and abilities is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and techniques
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in specific subjects
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students
  • Experience in conducting assessments and evaluations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
